Novak Djokovic got enraged, then casually took off his shirt on the court

Novak Djokovic looked like he’d be cruising to a straight-set win over Feliciano Lopez in Tuesday night’s U.S. Open quarterfinal when Lopez got a quick second-set break, held serve for the duration and forced Djokovic to go at least four sets, deep into the New York evening. Djokovic, displeased by the events, had an odd reaction: After losing the set, he took off his shirt within two seconds like an excited teenager on prom night.

Normally, Djokovic would literally tear his shirt off his body, a much better expression of his rage. This time he went with the old “getting in shower” move. Whatever. After the minor tantrum Djokovic, or The Hulk on Zoloft as he shall now be known, won the third and fourth sets to advance to his 21st major semifinal in his last 22 starts. The lesson: If you’re ever having trouble at work, on the golf course or on a date, just classily remove your shirt and — VOILA! — things will get better, Novak guarantees.
